Booking & cancellation, in plain words
- Multi-day tours: 50% deposit confirms your placePay the other 50% in two payments or when you arrive in Iceland. Card, transfer or cash.
- Multi-day: 7+ days before, 100% refund5 to 7 days before: we deduct the cost of bookings already made for your trip (hotels, activities) and refund the rest. Less than 5 days before: no refund.
- Northern lights: pay 48 hours beforeNothing to pay when you book. Cancel up to 24 hours before for a 100% refund. Inside 24 hours and no-shows: no refund. We wait 20 minutes.
- If we cancel for weather or safetyWe reschedule first. Otherwise: full refund or voucher, your choice.
Are the tours really guided in Spanish?+
Yes — every departure runs with a bilingual guide. The whole tour is told in Spanish and in English, and you can ask questions in either language at any point. This is the entire reason the company exists.
Do you pick up at my hotel?+
Yes. Pickup and drop-off in Reykjavík are included on every day tour, from most hotels, guesthouses and the designated bus stops. We confirm your exact point and time by email the day before.
How big are the groups?+
Never more than 18 people — that is our legal maximum and we do not exceed it. Most departures run with fewer.
What happens if I cancel?+
Northern lights: you pay 48 hours before the tour, and you get a 100% refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before; inside 24 hours there is no refund. Multi-day tours: cancel 7 or more days before the start for a 100% refund. Between 7 and 5 days before, we deduct the cost of the bookings already made for your trip and refund the rest. Less than 5 days before, there is no refund. No-shows are not refunded, and we wait 20 minutes at the pickup point before we have to leave.
What if the weather cancels the tour?+
If we cancel for weather or safety we reschedule you first. If that is not possible you choose: a full refund or a voucher. Route changes for weather do not create a refund — Iceland decides, not us.
Will I definitely see the northern lights?+
Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling you something. The aurora is a natural phenomenon and depends on the weather and on solar activity. What we can promise: we only run the hunt when the forecast is worth it, and if we don't see them on the first outing, a second outing is guaranteed at no extra cost. Booking is €99 per person.
Can I pay by card?+
Yes. Card payments go through a secure Shopify checkout. We also accept bank transfer and cash. Multi-day tours: a 50% deposit confirms your place, the rest in two payments or when you arrive in Iceland. Northern lights: nothing to pay until 48 hours before the tour.
Is there a minimum age?+
Participants must be 18 or over. Under-18s are welcome accompanied by a responsible adult who takes responsibility for them.
