The most complete trip Amigos Iceland Tours runs: 14 days and 13 nights around the whole island, combining nature, guided activities and food experiences. Golden Circle, South Coast and glaciers, the East Fjords and Stuðlagil, Mývatn and Akureyri with whale watching, the Westfjords (Ísafjörður, Dynjandi waterfall and the Bolafjall viewpoint), the Snæfellsnes peninsula with the Vatnshellir lava tunnel, the Perlan museum and the Blue Lagoon — always in a small group with a Spanish-speaking guide. Available May to October only, starting 2027. From September to October we add up to 3 northern lights hunts. And from July to September, weather permitting, we add an extra route through the Icelandic Highlands.
Why 14 days? Because on top of the full loop we visit the Westfjords — Ísafjörður, Dynjandi waterfall and Bolafjall, among others — a region most tours never reach. That is 14 days to see Iceland calmly. This tour runs in the summer season only, May to October. And from July to September, weather permitting, we add an extra route through the Icelandic Highlands.
Day by day
- Days 1-2
Arrival and the Golden Circle
Arrival in Reykjavík and the classic loop: Þingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss and the Kerið crater, ending in Hella.
- Days 3-4
South Coast and glaciers
Guided walk on the Sólheimajökull glacier, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, the black beach at Reynisfjara and a special lunch in Vík. On to Skaftafell, the Jökulsárlón lagoon and Diamond Beach.
- Days 5-6
East Fjords and Stuðlagil canyon
Vestrahorn mountain, fjords and fishing villages, and the basalt columns of Stuðlagil on the way north.
- Days 7-9
Mývatn, Akureyri and Tröllaskagi
The volcanic landscapes of Mývatn, a whale-watching tour, thermal bathing at Forest Lagoon, a special dinner in Akureyri and the Tröllaskagi peninsula route heading west.
- Days 10-12
The west and the Snæfellsnes peninsula
Lava fields, the Vatnshellir lava tunnel, Mount Kirkjufell, sea cliffs and the Snæfellsjökull volcano, with a special lunch, before returning to Reykjavík.
- Days 13-14
Blue Lagoon and farewell
Time to relax at the Blue Lagoon, a visit to the Perlan museum, free time in the capital, a farewell dinner and the transfer to Keflavík airport.
